Your last two statements do not add up.
Ill be honest. Im a nanny and have a slight addiction to checking certain websites and keeping up on news weather and traffic during the day. Its really strange. I didn't used to be this way until i was actually a nanny and think its because Im with kids all day and need the outlet? but I digress I am able to do this frequently during the day and I will. I take any opportunity to check my phone. yet I have always still been able to go above and beyond with my job. you'd be surprised. one mb that had an obsession with her phone in common with me actually told me she noticed but said she didn't care because i was on top of everything. we had the same symptoms. I mean if I'm waiting for them to use the bathroom before we leave, while they clean up, waiting in carpool lines, while I cook, sometimes while they are eating and if they start talking crazy i excuse myself to get on my phone. If we are playing barbies and legos I will once they take my toys and start to ignore me, when they wash hands, nap time after chores are done, just about anytime I can. It relaxes me
