I would tell them you would like to have a discussion to go over your contract. Then I would tell them that you are requesting at least x amount increase due to the fact that they have not honored their end of the contract.

Yes. It clearly states I am to receive one yearly.


Then you remind them of the contract in a polite way and ask them if there is a reason why they have not given you a yearly raise. Why didn't you bring it up after the first year with no raise? If it specifically says in the contract that you should get a raise, then they should give you one or have a reason why they are not giving you one. In my experience, families who need to be reminded to give you a raise are not the greatest to work for. Especially after 3 years.
