I bet you she's paid off the books, so the employers think the law doesn't apply to them.

I would have a chat to the mum and say "hey the 3 months i agreed to be super flexible are up, can we return to the 9-5 (or what you ususally are)" I have had jobs where I work 12 hour days (60ish a week plus babysitting) and there have been days where I was asleep 15m after I finished. 60 hours with toddlers is tiring!

The family I work for always calls the grandparents on date nights or weekends away ect...im thankful for that. Did you try and talk to the family before you quit? If so how did they react?

I mainly quit for other reasons. The 4 yr old was very violent. She hit me with a frying pan and spit in my face daily. I just one day had enough.

You should try talking to them though maybe it can be worked out.
