All hours over 50/am are paid at OY rates for live out nannies. No r captions for sleeping hours. This is Federal law.

I would be dubious about going in and not charging at all, but in your situation, I would probably have just asked them to tack on one hour of overtime to the normal paycheck. I've had two MBs for whom I did favors, then they expected similar things every time, so I won't do it gratis again.

OP I'm a nanny, and I'd like to think I'm more mature and reasonable than most of the ones posting on here. I had an MB have contractions and need to get them checked out. I got the call around 7 asking if I was home and explaining the situation that she MAY go to the hospital, and then got the call she was for sure going around 11.
