First off, why would you baby-sit TWO young children three days a week without pay? You claim you are doing it for charitable purposes, but unless you are required to perform some community service hours, this family is taking full advantage of you and you are letting them.
Also, your post is contradicting itself, on one hand this family knows you are unemployed, yet at the same time they are asking you to help out with bail monies. This makes no cents (pun intended!) and why are you stressed if you do not fork over the money?? Have they threatened to set fire to your house??

I think if you get asked again all you have to say is "I haven't had a job or been paid in x weeks. As much as I would love to help out I don't have the money to do so".
