You sre a douchebag. Her nanny, care giver of her most precious possession, was robbed and you say keep out of her personal problems. I hope you get robbed and no one gives a damn.
OP, yes, I would give as much as you can afford, in cash and as a gift. Imagine how long it took her to save the money but. More importantly, the post effects of being robbed.
Actually, no one gives a damn about my life, which believe it or not, came before the bitterness. And remember, lots of us spend every spare cent on a nanny and have nothing left to give.
Thankfully I'd never be in this position though, since my nanny is a US citizen with a social security number and bank account.
Where does it say ops nanny doesn't have a social security number or bank account. Lots of reasons for someone to have a large amount of cash around
care giver of her most precious possession

I'm the OP and to be 100% clear I did NOT post the follow-up about the assumption my nanny loves my kids. I think a troll just decided to hijack this thread for the sake of their amusement.
And while I cannot state with certainty how my nanny or my young son feels, I am confident there is abundant mutual affection
Op how do you know that she doesn't love your kids?

You have a good heart and will have good karma, OP. Don't let the bitter misers on this thread deter you from doing the decent thing to help a woman who loves and cares for your children.
My nanny doesn't love my children. What an odd assumption.
Shall we not assume that you love your children?
I'm their mother. The nanny is not.
