MB here. I give my nanny a list of the dates of her paid holidays at the beginning of every year. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, I give her the previous Friday off. If it falls on a Sunday, I give her Monday off. That way, she gets the same number of days off every year. I don't know if that is standard but it seems fair to me.
And she can always know when it's safe to make plans and not. Kudos, you're a great MB.
