Make sure, however that you stress to them that your problem was mostly w/the things the guests did such as the bottle throwing, etc. rather than just letting them know about a party.

Last night we noticed the nanny had a noisy party while our neighbors were out of town. The guests threw empty bottles in people's yards. Not cool. DH and I are discussing if we should just mind our own buiness or just mention the party to our neighbors with in person or email. I have no idea if they agreed to let her host a party or not. I don't really mind if people want to throw parties but I think dumping glass bottles in other people's yards or in the street is extremely disrespectful and potentially dangerous.
If she weren't a nanny, you wouldn't care. MYOB. Nobody likes snoopy neighbors.
