Because it is such a huge oversight and liability. If MB had made pot brownies, and had kids old enough to eat brownies in the house, she never would have left them out on the kitchen counter, unmarked. She would have either hidden them (in a closet or freezer or something), or she would have at least labeled them "for a special party--don't eat!" etc. Her kids could've eaten them. Nanny could've chosen to call the cops. Etc. I don't believe this for a second.
