If they promised you a car and you need a car for the job and you are unwilling to use your own, you need a new job.

If you are willing to use your car, be absolutely sure you are reimbursed per the IRS rate.

I feel like they hustled you OP.

When they hired you, they promised you a car, yet so far have failed to follow through on that promise.

Basically this is invalidating your contract with them. If they do not provide adequate transportation soon, no one will blame you if you fly the coop.

NP. I don't have a car, and I've had this issue as well. Tha family had the audacity to tell me that either they needed me to purchase a car or I needed to find another position. I quit.
