Would you be amenable to be called "Aunt" for yourself and "Uncle" for your husband? I understand that's the polite and affectionate way to address one's elders in many Asian countries.
Or, if she's Indian, you could suggest she add the suffix -ji to your first name, which denotes respect.
She might feel more comfortable if you provided alternatives and didn't force her to call you by your first names.
