However the attitude she has is concerning. I always arrive at my nanny job with a smile and a great attitude for my job even if I am having personal problems. I never let it affect my work or my work ethic.

The stain on her pants could be due to her not having sufficient funds to purchase new clothes, perhaps she has too many bills to pay and not much left over for clothing.

As a nice bonus, why not give her a fifty dollar gift card to Marshalls, Ross or even Target so she can get some new clothes.
Or if you are the same size, perhaps offer her some of your clothing that you do not wear anymore.

I disagree. A start time is a start time and should be honored especially by a nanny. And no matter how limited the nanny's funds, she should be able to afford to WASH her jeans which I believe in OP's point. I would never offer our nanny my second-hand clothing -- what an insult that would be!

Your first nanny was amazing, OP. You were very lucky to have found her.

As for your second nanny, I don't think some of her issues are "work-out-able". Her basic sour disposition cannot be changed and neither can her insistence on over-sharing her private life. Try again and make your expectations 100% clear from the initial interview and even job posting: that she must be on time every day and she must only use her phone for emergencies and during her lunch break with no exceptions. Be frank during the interview process of why you let your nanny go re her sour disposition.
