I think this is a troll post as well. What soaps are only on cable ?

If it isn't a troll post, well, OP, your answer is pretty simple. Find a way to watch them online in your off time. You aren't entitled to soap watching on the clock.

So what do you do? Send them to daycare? No.

So you want the mom to stay home? Yes, we don't need women in the workforce.

Also, if you don't employ a nanny why do you post here? You obviously aren't a nanny either...

Reading comprehension issues strike once again. It says "old nannies".... not all nannies. I assume the reference is old people watch soap operas.

Well in all fairness if you are on the clock working for her, it is really not YOUR time as much as HER time.

With modern technology as it is, there just has to be some other way you can watch your soaps on your off time.

When my charge is up during the day I usually only have the tv on to play my New Age music throughout the bottom floor of the house. Mb works from home in her office in her bed room. They 2 tvs in their room. When I first started db would complain about my "spa music" even though he leaves soon after I arrive. But when ds is sleeping and his brother is in dayschool I like to watch my soaps while I have lunch and fold laundry etc. why does she pick this particular time EVERYDAY to come downstairs and engage in conversation with me??? I'm not here to make friends but to work and provide care for the kids. She isn't talking about ds or his day so far. Only random things and trying to pry. I think she is doing this on purpose. How do I kindly tell her I would like to enjoy my soaps in peace and quiet?? It is my break in a 9.5 hr day after all ugh this is sooooo frustrating you know?

No way in hell this is an older nanny. In fact, no way in hell this is a nanny at all.

I think this is the strangest post I have read on DCUM.
