I'm either going to do full time preschool in the fall or part time nanny and half day preschool. I'll commit to whatever we get into for a year in the fall and would put that in our nanny contract.

You absolutely can. Please be up front with nanny about wanting full time preschool. That will limit your candidates and possibly increase the cost, but it is the right thing to do.
