PP, that's nice, but OP said she is looking for 40 hours a week. So based on the math above by you and others, 4 - 5 hours a day for $100 is exactly $20 - $25 per hour.
Therefore, OP should expect to pay a nanny manager in the $20/hour or more range.

Many people pay $75-100 a day for this type of work plus after school,children watching/driving.
$100/day is about $12.50/hr for a 40 hour week. You would not find anyone reliable and legal for that in the DMV.
RIght, not for 40 hours. after school cleaning, shuttling, errands, cooking isn't an 8 hour day. 1 or 2 to 6pm a day.
