You ae talking about a paid caretaker whose function is only the kids. Not a mom who is caring for her kids, cooking, cleaning and doing other household stuff. I am not paying my nanny to do a two hour work out on my treadmill.

The baby had a huge blowout on me this past week and I needed to shower... I'm just hoping it isn't irritating my MB.
I would not be pleased. I wouldn't fire you or anything but I would not be happy that you just washed shit off your body in my shower. Did you then bleach the shower? Where was the baby while you were showering and bleaching? Plus what's the point of showering if you just put your dirty clothes back on?
You're kidding right? You expect nanny to work the rest of the day without cleaning herself up? I'm sure she cleaned the excess shit (your kid's shit) off of her before getting in your shower. I bet she didn't bleach the shower as that is overkill. The baby was probably in the crib or some other safe, contained place while nanny got cleaned up. Any nanny who takes care of young children, should be wise enough to keep an extra set of clothes in the car, just in case.
If the shit is only on the clothes to the point of being able to be cleaned off, then no need to shower. If there IS a need to shower to get shit off, then the shower DOES need to be bleached. You can't have it both ways.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Yes to the treadmill but no to the shower. Get power shower wipes from a sporting goods store. I used those when I biked to work and they really do work. Showering there brings up the issue of who will clean the bathroom that you use every day...
MB here - agree with the above, though if they have a cleaning service/housekeeper it is less of an issue. Also if you are the only adult in the house I would be concerned that you are not alert to any issues with the child/in the home while showering and getting dressed. This is why so many moms on mat leave/who stay at home look so unkempt, they don't have an opportunity to shower!

I wouldn't do this without asking.
