Hey guys, just coming back to confirm that the au pair is eligible to travel back to Norway. I just confirmed it.

Thanks for the support Anonymous', I really apprecate it.

I just wanted to come back to confirm that it's possible to travel back to Norway as an au pair after leaving the country as long as you have a valid residence permit for anyone who currently are in a similar position to the one I was in.

Thank you all.

Not your worry. Norway does not classify people as illegals the way America does. As long as the person arrives legally.

Does the au pair have an EU passport?

Well that sounds like very good news then, even if it isn't anything too concrete : )

Sure. The US doesn't give out residence permits to Au pairs.

Sorry I didn't reply to your question.

I haven't inquired on an ex-pat forum, but I have done some serious Google research.

There is a significant difference between a visa and a residence permit from what I understand.
