Hi OP! Another So Cal Nanny Here...San Diego to be exact.

Yes, it is hot as heck out here. The News said it is the hottest May in over a century and I believe it since I have been living in San Diego my whole entire life and we usually have May Gray out here. Nope not this yr. I guess.

I work as a Nanny on the coast, in La Jolla and even there it is hot, hot hot. Many homes on the coast do not have A/C so like you, I am stuck inside w/a baby. The parents do not allow me to drive the child anywhere and we cannot take walks to the playground so we are stuck in the house for the week.

It is boring and the day is even longer for us.
What makes it extra long and boring is I am not even allowed to let the child (2 yrs. old) watch a second of T.V. either and they do not even have a backyard to play in!!

Well, I heard a cool down is coming possibly next week, so keeping my finger's crossed.
