Hi Op are you still seeking help? I worked as a live in and both my employer and I were happy with the arrangement. I'd love to try it again, please let me know thanks

Can the two posters with successful live in experiences say how much they pay their nannies?

We are also on our second live-in nanny and our kids are both in ES school now (this is going on nine years, happy to say). We both work full time out of the home and it just works better to have a third adult involved. Also, we don't like to send out kids to summer camp and this just takes all of that out of the equation. We offer great benefits and have a really nice living space including a separate kitchen, living room and bath. We also provide a car, health insurance, direct deposit and other goodies. We make it a great opportunity and have always had amazing applicants. We actually don't pay all that much in terms of actual cash: it's the total package and respect for the caregiver as a professional that makes the difference in our case. Good luck!

We are near UMD, so that's great to hear. Thanks!
