I have an egg sensitivity. I get horrible stomach issues if I eat eggs. I have not given my dc eggs because I don't feel that they are necessary and I can wait until they are older to test whether or not they also have this sensitivity. Its not important to possibly subject them to severe stomach pain/diarrhea/vomiting at this young age because eggs are totally unnecessary to their diet.
If I were MB and i found out my nanny intentionally or unintentionally allowed my children to have eggs, against my express wishes, I would fire her so fast her head would spin and would make sure to let every prospective possible future employer know to steer far clear from her.

Smoking pot in the home is horrible whether they're there or not. The stuff lingers. I smoke cigarettes on occasion but only outside.

Pot smoke doesn't linger the way cigarette smoke does - it doesn't cling to clothes or carpets or walls and a room can be completely aired out in no time at all. Just FYI from a state where recreational marijuana is legal.

OP, sometimes when a nanny works for a family for many years like you have the nanny can become very attached to the children. I actually think it's natural and can be a healthy thing. However, it can also be very hard on the nanny and unhealthy for all involved. In your situation I think you may be experiencing boundary issues that should be concerning to you and the parents (if they are aware of this).

Aside from neglect and abuse, you really can't do much when you work for parents that parent differently than you do/would. If you believe your bosses are neglecting or abusing your charges I recommend you call children and family services. If you don't suspect neglect or abuse and instead realize that they just don't parent the way you would like your charges parented, it's important to mind your own business, for the sake of your health and your job.

I'm an MB and a pot smoker however I do not smoke when my ids are around or I will be caring for them. They go to grandmas for the night. I'll light up. But even under the influence of MJ, I don't think I would give the kids "unheated" food so I don't even think that is an issue related to his smoking. The only "unfunctional" one seems to be you OP

The whole post was bizarre. OP seemed more concerned about the cold food and lack of eggs than the pot. That's why people are focusing on that. At least to me that's what bothered me the most about the OP. If she's so concerned about his drug use why go on and on about the dangerous habit of feeding them cold food?
