I have depression insomnia and was a high functioning drug addict. No employers ever knew actually none of my friends or family knew or suspected either.

I did have to call in sick to work quite a bit when I would go through withdrawal or just work through the hell. I'm better now thankfully.

To those addiction is a mental disease like depression etc
