Most parents seem to not understand that good nannies must maintain a higher bar when it comes to child safety.

Have a talk with them. Say that you are really worried that he will get hurt bc he is so fast. You can make it sound better- Little Johnny is such an athlete. he's going to be a track star or quarterback. he's amazing and moves so fast, etc. Then say you are worried because he just loves to "tackle" all the expensive breakables and then say what might work as far as child proofing. You could also ask how they manage to keep him away from the breakables bc he is so fast with you.

You could also move something in front of the wine or breakables like an ottoman, dining room chairs, or whatever. When they come home say Johnny was having so much fun and going so fast you had to move some things. Put them back before you leave.
