Nannies are "hourly employees" - they get paid hourly. I currently work in Dubai and get paid for 60 hours a week - luckily I usually only work 60 hours
To the OP sit down and say "I love sharing little Jonny's day with you, but for the past 3 weeks I have not gotten off the clock until x. Would you like to change my contract to x so you have the extra time at the end of the day for a catch up chat" - if you are happy to work an extra half hour each day. Or "I love chatting with you about little Jonny's day but I need to leave here at X" I would gather all your stuff together and just start getting ready when its time to go home
