Subject: Nannies how many agencies do you belong to?
Some agencies will tear you down, just so you'll accept a low paying job to make their "match". As long as you make it past their "guaranteed" 30 days, or whatever it is, they don't care.

Seattle and the surrounding area (the highest paying jobs tend to be on the East Side - Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond)

Place like Los Angeles have good agencies, some better than others, but good ones. When I worked out there, I went with as many agencies as I could.

One agency offers temp work like weekend, wedding or event, and so on. So I'm glad I got with them - so I can pick up extra things when needed and build a rapport with them before looking for full time.

In my opinion and from personal experience, families that go through agencies are more invested in finding great childcare for their families.
They are more willing to put the extra dollars in it if it means they will get someone top notch.
They also tend to pay the highest salaries as well as pay on the books.
