FireMEN, mailMEN, and stewardESS all denote a specific gender. Of course we should not call females fireMEN, or males stewardESSes. Where in the word nanny does it specify female?

Yes it's annoying. More than anything the "manny" label makes her posts so identifiable, and from what I gather, she is an awful boss though she seems to like him. Very take take take, but doesn't feel the need to give him anything.

I was always annoyed by this too and wonder why oh why she has to refer to him as such in every.single.post. Every time. So weird.

The term manny has been in use for at least 25 years. I have had male friends who referred themselves as a manny. Yes, this woman has a manny. For those of you who are annoyed by it, get over it.

Male nurses that call themselves murses is just as stupid. Do they have an RM license instead of an RN license?
