I'm sorry, what is the problem? Why all the bashing? I am a FT nanny for a WAHM and I do not see any problem with it. She has a relaxed job where she can pop in and out to see and spend time with her children. That does not affect my work performance or my relationship with the children. When the mom is around, they typically want to be near her... SO WHAT! I don't try to stop that. If I was a WAHM, I too would want to see my children as much as possible, that is one of the benefits! But of course childcare is still needed, please don't forget to use common sense!
Also, don't be jealous of the mother who can afford to not work and hire help. There is nothing wrong with that lifestyle! I plan to stay at home and will still need occasional childcare so that I can go to yoga or the salon or wherever my heart desires! That is my choice! Each family does what they see to be best for themselves as individuals and as a family unit. To each their own! If you are uncomfortable working for an at home mother, then that is your problem, move along!
