I'm not a SAHM but OP posted that she uses the MH to get chores done that it's hard to do w/ kids underfoot like cleaning or even laundry. sounds reasonable and exactly what a MH would be useful for.

OP, I had a similar experience with a 20 yo with $12/hr going rate.
No cell, but a total mess after she left (reminders did not help much- her response was like- sorry I forgot); she could not engage the kid when he was not in a good mood; she would forget things, etc.

I tried to work on it but with mixed success. Was relieved to put the kid in preschool and forget about her.
