Well OP if you are looking for a new job anyways why even entertain this contract? Why would you sign it if you plan to quit? How does she know you are looking for a job? I'm sure all these tasks laid out in this contract are nothing new to you. You been employed with her for over a year so I'm sure all these things were agreed upon beforehand. Just quit if you are unhappy.

You would have to be nuts to even consider this. No way.

Wait, the schedule doesn't show Saturday hours, yet there is a bunch of stuff they are asking the nanny to do on Saturdays? So this is a full week position, not even a single day off?

I have done that before, it sucks. Even if you only work 2 hours on one day, not having a full day off gets really old, really quickly.

If they poop and pee in them, they should help care for their workplace but this contract is insane. They are looking for a housekeeper/nanny.

Do you scrub the toilets you use at your job? More than likely, the person who was hired to scrub the toilets does it. If you turn your home into a workplace by hiring a nanny, maintaining said workplace is the responsibility of the employer. If the nanny was hired and agreed to that duty, fine, but it is not a given.

The $25 for deep cleaning is ludicrous, but requiring the nanny to have a cell phone on which she can be reached during work hours is pretty standard and definitely not something the parents need to pay for. Beyond that, this is a pretty standard nanny/housekeeping job. It just isn't clear that the OP was hired to be a nanny/housekeeper as opposed to a nanny with typical child-related housekeeping duties.

$25 every two weeks to clean toilets???? Ummm f*ck that!!! Also there's a typo that you have to pay the employer $18 when watching Xxxx and Xxxx.

You are completely insane if you sign this. I'm paid $22/hr and I wouldn't clean toilets. Run!!

Clearly, you hate this MB and don't want the job. Why post this question? Answer is obvious. You don't want the job. So don't sign.

Not a problem.

How could you possibly care for the children and deep clean the kitchen and tend to all those other cleaning responsibilities in your two scheduled hours on Sunday?
