I think the pet sitting thing won't work out -- maybe go without pay or half pay? for those weeks. Neither will the change days. Your employer needs to understand that. You could try vaction without pay --happens to a lot of people.

It sounds to me like mistakes and oversights happened on BOTH sides when you took the job. It also sounds like they are trying to address your concerns and come up with some solutions.

And now it sounds like you're just sick of the job period and nothing they do will make you happy. Which is fine - if you want to move on you're entitled to, but there is blame on both sides here and you really just sound like you're whining now.

I agree...Honestly I'm just trying to save up as much as possible so I can afford to live without a Jon for awhile and then move. But I just hate feeling like I'm being taken advantage of in the process. I believe when they first looked into having a nanny they didn't look into all it entails like paid vacation, sick leave, set hours and etc. Yes I was wrong for not bring this up but at the interview it seemed like we were on the same page.

You need a new job. It sounds like this just isn't working out.
