But they do take taxes out and i thought it was fair seeing as though i don't drive. I would like to be making a little more so I won't be living on such a tight budget. With the days I work its hard to find a family who only needs Tuesdays and Thursday. Also me charge is reaching the age where I think some time with other babies would be good for her to do. Since I don't drive it's hard to take her out. And no I don't only care about the money I love the family I work with. I just could use a little more.
Odd statement. It's the law to take taxes out. Even if you drove and they took taxes out, it would still be fair. It's also the law to at the very minimum get paid the state hourly wage.
If I were in your shoes, I would seek a position that requires more hours and an actual fair rate. You deserve more than
$4 and change an hour, right??? Not a parent, but I would be annoyed if a nanny asked to do a share - if a parent wanted one, they would have done it. Big difference between the two.
