By choice my nanny is not allowed to take them out on the town. We have a park a few blocks away they can go to, but I really am overprotective and anal so I don't allow her to drive them or for them to take the buses.
Two toddlers and a preschooler, all under 4.
Oh jeez....you are one of them.
They DO get out. I don't want them out all over D.C. without my husband or I, sorry if that offends you.
I just can't get over the parents who only allow their nannies to take the kids to one park or nowhere at all. How would you like it if you were restricted to your house and ONE park with your kids, all day, every day? If you don't trust your nanny to drive your children to kid friendly places, you should just stick your kids in daycare because you have no business having a nanny.
I don't trust my children 100% with my one nanny I've known for several years, do you think I'd really allow them to go to daycare?
My nanny never once complained. Get off your high horse.
I am a very active nanny and would love to be taking him to the library, park, gym classes (Gymboree or The Little Gym), and a wonderful children's museum which is only 10 minutes from their house. In some ways I understand that they don't want me driving him anywhere but it does really get on my nerves!

Are they getting dressed?
No, children do not need to go out everyday, however, the children should be getting dressed and not following in this lazy nannys footsteps.
