Glad to hear things worked out in the end OP. you no longer have to deal with them, but because things happened exactly the way their child wanted them to she will only be 10x worse in the future. Payback is bitch!

OP: They terminated my contract with them (agency) but have found a new family to work for who actually like and respect me.

9:37 here. I was a 19 year old college student at the time. I acknowledged that I didn't know my rights, and in turn didn't do everything I could to stand up for myself. While it is everyone's responsibility to tand up for themselves, it's also a shame that mistreatment to this degree occurs so often in this line of work. The attitude that a nanny/AP is just the help, allows some people to feel no shame treating her in a manner they wouldn't treat any other person they come in contact with. You see this attitude constantly from MBs on this board. Do I HAVE to share my food with the "nanny", must she drink so much water??, how dare she not clean my home and like it!!!

Nannies really need to grow up and stop putting up with this nonsense.

It may be fake, but not absurd. I went through a similar situation as a live-in. Didn't really know my rights, and they gave 2 days to get out. They knew very well that I had no where or no one to turn to, amd I ended up spending some time homeless and jumping from couch to couch for a while.

Op, which agency are you with?

OP, they have to house you for 2 weeks, so they can't say you have to leave in 4 days. Whether you want to stay is a different matter. PErhaps your LCC will put you up. I know ours has done that in certain situations. Rematch!!! You'll find a better family.
