Can't imagine she's much of a nanny if she's now your housekeeper. If she'll do whatever you need, she's your helper, not a nanny. Let's be honest.

Why when someone hears "nanny" do they think housekeeper is the same thing, or close enough?

Perhaps because they are the same thing...

1. There is a search for housekkeepers only on the nanny forum board.
2. Appropriately, there is no nanny only job search the job postings are mixed with different level of housekeeping responsibilities.
3. All nanny jobs involve some degree of child related housekeeping and most nanny jobs involve non-child related housekeeping.

why are you lying? my employers have never asked me to do any housekeeping including my charges laundry. just put their dishes in the dw when they are done

I pay $50 for a lady to come clean my place, 1 bed apartment. Basic stuff. Dust, vacuum, bathroom. She's done fairly quickly.

My NF they pay $175/day and the housekeeper comes twice a week. She does everything including sheets, beds, laundry, all baths, bedrooms, outside areas and guest house.
