I’d like to suggest you consider putting your first born into a half day preschool. We do that with our newborn and 2 yo, and everyone is happier : kids, nanny, parents. You might talk to others that have nannies in your neighborhood, for example in Chevy Chase and Spring Valley there’s a ton of morning preschool options that are fantastic. Good luck and hope you find a new nanny quickly!
