OP here I offered to pay $900 weekly no overtime because I would let her go early because my husband is an educator and I can partially work from home but when I do go in the office I tend to work late as well and so does he so it evens out. Also, we give at least 5 weeks off of paid time off spread out throughout the year. Two weeks during the holidays and over the summer when my husband isn't teaching 2- 3 weeks off. So $900 weekly should be fine. Thoughts?

This is a sure fire way to build resentment in the nanny-family relationship. I've seen it happen a million times. The kids still exist even if they're not present. Should the nanny ignore the two older children's laundry, toys, packing their lunches, making their appointments, planning and booking activities, meal prep, washing their dishes, organzing their rooms, etc while they are only being paid the 1 kid rate?

I have often seen a two rate system in these instances. Something like $30 per hour with just the infant, and $40 per hour when it moves to 2-3 kids. You could have the expected weekly pay based on the normal hours, and then have the nanny track hours when it is an unusual week (sick days or days off for the older kids, etc).

When asking what is a going rate…..there are many factors that come into play so these types of questions are hard to answer in a general matter…..
