I'd do it as it won't last for months and as a nanny you might need some flexibility at some point, it's a win win.
(what you can also ask is doing it once every two weeks)

I personally think you should be flexible and get paid for that flexibility. It it is part 40 hours per week they have to pay you time and a half. You could say "I'm sorry but $15 just isn't with the extra time for me considering how close practice is to my house."

It would depend on what time you start work every day.
If you are working over the standard 8HR workday then you should be compensated more than a mere $15.
You may also just be tired at this time & want/need to be back home w/your own family.
Personally - it sounds like you do not want to do this so if that is the case here then let the Mother know that you prefer to be off work at 6:30 as opposed to 7.

Also, with the first few responses, it seems like there are people here who want to see nannies fired or let go when their employer finds someone else who can be flexible and accommodate their needs. It’s less than a half an hour for $15. No one is taking advantage or any of that. A 20 minute round trip drive. Not a hill to die on.

I never understand these questions. All you need to do is ask yourself if $15 is worth a half hour of your time and if this is something you’re willing to be flexible with to help them and received said compensation. No one else can answer that.

I would do it as they’re offering money. They’re not trying to take advantage.
If you don’t want to though, just explain why. It makes your whole evening later with the commute and that doesn’t work for you.
Having said that, if they change the current situation and stop meeting you at the gym and want to have the end time at their house they can do that. So I would show some good will on this one.
