I've used Paycheck Nanny and have been pleased with it. It's reasonably priced and good at tracking work/calculating paychecks/figuring taxes, but the tradeoff is there are more steps you have to do yourself.

Hello - I've seen a few company names thrown around but not a dedicated thread.

Which payroll service would you recommend to employ a nanny? I live in DC. Ideal checklist would include:

- Reasonable price
- Efficient timecard and pay processing
- Clear and efficient tax documents at year's end
- Support to set up Tax ID and accounts with the city
- Support to set up the employment relationship (model contract, tips, etc.)
- Hotline for employment questions as they arise
