I would offer suggestions but follow her lead. You can ask what games she likes to play, does she have favorite books, if she does ask her to show you then you can say “ ooh I haven’t read this one, do you want me to read it to you?”
If she goes to school you can ask about friends , what’s her favorite part about school, does she like having playdates etc.
Ask what she got for Christmas ( if you know they celebrated) and ask her to show you….. then engage in playing with whatever it is.

I lost my job where I was taking care of one year old child, I had accident and not able to work with this age anymore. I need time to heal. I can’t carry the child for certain period of time.

There is another family they want me to hire part time with five years old girl.
They want to see me how I will engage with her.
Could someone help me out what questions do I have to ask her?
I don’t have experience with this age.
