I think it depends on the nanny's age, etc but we give our nanny a $350/month stipend and I believe she is able to buy something within this limit (we told her should could purchase what she wanted on the exchange but the reimbursement would be capped at $250/ month. She seems happy with it. She is also 27, has no kids or dependents, is single, and in pretty good health. So not sure how those factors affect her ability to get decently priced insurance.
