There are many things to consider:
Where is the pay currently? Low end vs high end?
Have the duties changed extensively? More kids, kids in school, etc.
Are there any benefits you've added? More vacation time, health insurance stipend, etc.

Then they need to be prepared to interview a new nanny. No raise means that the work was subpar and the daily is looking for a new nanny.
