Cash. That's all they want. They have many photos of your kids in their phones....they...just...want....money.

If you're going to give a physical gift, make sure it's small enough to fit into a purse (small photo) or offer to mail it home for them (no extra cost to keep your gift. If not, it's highly possible that the AP may decide that your gift means less to them than other items they've accumulated over the year.

We gave cash. APs usually have a lot to pack up at the end of their stay and I don't want to add to the bulk. They could always use the money for travel or something else.

AP is finishing a 2 year stay with us. Any suggestions on an end of term gift? Or would cash be preferred?
