In Bethesda we have had same nanny 4+ years. Started her at $18/hour year one and now up to $24/hour.

We recently saw $32-36/hr for high quality, long term professional candidates. You can likely hire someone a bit lower if you want a college student/open to short term.

I saw this post in the nanny search thread and wondering what the going rate for this work might be. Any ideas?
searching for a house manager/nanny to begin in June, 5 days a week, 7am-5pm. Duties would include getting the kids ready for school, drop off to school, household duties such as laundry, dishes, light cooking, etc while the kids are in school, and then pick up. Would be with the kids from 7-9am and 3-5pm. I am located in North Bethesda.
