Assuming she’s full time, $2/hr = about $4200 for the year. If your nanny was making, say, $50k last year, that bumps her up to $54k. Sounds about right.

I’ve gotten $2/hr raised and extra time off(overall 15 PTO) which is greatly appreciate it.

Healthcare exchange applies for people that make hardly any $ and if the nanny has a medical issue, then she’d have to buy a plan that covers certain medication that the ex Hosea not covered.
Most career Nannies get full health reimbursement is about $450.

Glad I came across this post; we were just wondering a few weeks ago what would be the right percentage/salary increase for our beloved nanny that takes great care of our 16 month baby girl. She’s happy with $2 and add up the PTO along with Health coverage.

This isn’t right. My premium is $481 and I get full stipend of it.
You want your nanny to perform well and be there for you when the child is sick(stomach virus, several colds even the damn flu) family ought to pay the premium. Nannies out there, please get this benefit written down in contract.

A nanny here. Been getting $2 raise every year fam just had a child when I started. When the second child arrived, I got a $3 raise. Full reimbursement of health coverage as I wouldn’t work w/o given this benefit. You cheap out and beat believe the nanny would start looking for another family.

$2 it’s the norm. Also add 2 extra PTO days in her contract and we pay full premium of her health insurance. Think she’s happy with it.

Definitely! We gave our wonderful nanny a $2 increase, and pump up her Health Coverage to $400 monthly(we were given a shy $375).
