Simply discuss with nanny. You do whatever she’s most comfortable with.

Yes. Nanny and DH are both vaccinated and boosted. My plan is to ask nanny what she is comfortable with, but I wanted a gut check on it it is even reasonable to ask.

Is DH vaccinated? Boosted? Is nanny vaccinated/boosted?

If you explained this to me, I'd be fine coming in unless I had a big trip or something planned soon.

DH visits his mom every week at a care facility. Yesterday she was not feeling well so he only stayed about 15 minutes. He wears a mask and sits apart from her. Today we found out that she and other residents have tested positive.

He is still testing negative and has no symptoms. Our plan is to have him quarantine in the house and stay in our bedroom.

No kid has any symptoms. Is it ok to ask nanny if she is comfortable coming in? Obviously we would not have her come in if someone is positive or shows symptoms. But right now kids are two layers away in terms of exposure.

Don't want to be a jerk in asking but our sick policy doesn't cover what happens if parent is exposed. If a kid was exposed or when nanny was exposed, we had her stay away 5 days.
