This does not have any bearing on her nannying ability. Who cares? Plenty of us have bump on a log nannies who do nothing or don't show up. IF this is your only complaint, come back when you have a real problem.

You’re making some wild assumptions here about things that are really not your business.
If you pay her by check, and she works during traditional business hours, it’s possible that she arranges her schedule and her budget to go to an actual bank — which might mean going on a Saturday when she’s not working — something she might not want to do on a weekly basis. Not everyone does online banking. Not everyone is comfortable using ATMs — particularly now that it gets dark so early. Just something to consider while you let your imagination wander.

What sort of “stories” do you want? Are you expecting multiple “stories” about when nannies deposit their checks?
You seem to have odd ideas about hobbies.

I get direct deposit, but I do better paying bills monthly and if I could do what your nanny is doing (deposit all the checks at once, then sot down once they clear and pay all my bills for the month and not think about it again), I would.

Hmm...what kind of bills do you need to pay ever week? I put almost everything on my credit card which I pay once a month, and I set up auto payments for other things. I am a nanny. I do get paid every week but I really could do with just as well with a monthly pay.

Who cares? Ask her to do it weekly if its an issue for you. Sounds like you cannot afford a nanny.

I only get paid once a month. I manage by pacing my spending. I know when which bills are due and make sure there is enough to cover and don't buy anything extra at certain times because I need to make sure to get to the end of the month. It is the same way I lived on a two paycheck a month situation, but with more time.

I 100% need my paycheck, but I don't get a choice in how I get paid. I would not assume that her not depositing it does not mean she does not need the money.

Also, if it bothers you, set up direct deposit. Then you don't need to worry about her money.
