Who is going to want to take doble work, 4 parents to deal with; who wants to pay the rate for a single child. You can easily get those $25
p-h working for a single family with a single child.

You can get 25$ for 1 baby a share should be 15$-17$ per hour not 12.50$!

Me personally I’m tired of seeing one particular post with “Nanny Natalie” trying desperately to find a share family. That’s on the family to do not you which is a red flag.

Not true at all . I am a professional career nanny of 15 years and I’ve been in three different shares for 2/3 years . Not everyone goes the daycare route and some children start preschool at 3/4. That’s several years if you start with infants

Low wages are simply unattractive to decent nannies. Post your excellent wage, and you’ll get some interest. Why double your workload for only a couple of extra dollars an hour?

A lot of families don't want to step into an established share were one family and child already have a relationship with the nanny.

Most prefer to start a share and search for a nanny together, lay out the terms, have both kids bond with the nanny at the same time, etc.

I'd definitely make Plan B and C

OP said she has posted in several forums already. It could say that maybe your expectations are so high, salary, location, setting of the house of different kind of patenting of a prospective family. It might be lots of things. Actually this is a great Forum; I could say better than Next door or even FB. Keep posting everywhere. Soon you will find someone. Good luck.

The other nanny share family just notified us that they are moving and will be leaving the share in a little over a month. It's causing some stress as we've already posted about finding a new family on multiple forums with no luck so far. Has anyone else had luck in finding a new family to join? Did you have to change your expectations (re: hosting or anything else)? How quickly did it happen? Hoping to get some reassurances that this will indeed work out.
