For example, my charges must sit to eat. I don’t care if it’s at the table or a blanket in the park, if they are eating - they are sitting.
And, nanny doesn’t push ride on toys or carry a child outside. You learn to push with your feet or pedal on ride-on toys and you walk on your own feet outside or go back into the stroller.
My lovely employers are exhausting themselves pushing the kids around the house in little cars and carrying kids outside.

Unless the parents are going to pay for my car to be detailed each month, Larla can wait ten minutes until we’re home for her snack.

Omg... I can't believe we are exactly in the same situation now. I have been with this family for over a month; a family with 3. 5 , 3 and a 8 months old. The two older kids are so rude to me; disrespect me all the time and parents don't do anything; even this it's in front of them. They haven't how teach good manners all. They never say "I'm sorry" and even they are so rude and mean in front of them; they don't correct them at all. This is so dissapointing. Even when I have talked to the parents about it; the say " awww they are so tired" " awww they don't know" "awww maybe they just need this thing this way or that way" "awww never they were hungry" . How sad and dissapointing I have found work for this family. It's my very first time.. working with parents and kids with so good behavior and lack or manners. They don't know the meaning of 'thank you" and please. Very sad situation. I gave already my 2 weeks of notice!

If they choose to take a toy (including a scooter or bike), they are responsible for keeping it with them, bringing it to me when they don't want to play with it, and for bringing it home (I will remind them). I don't push them either.
Eating happens while sitting at a table, on a blanket (at the park), or on a bench. Drinking happens near me, and the vessel is put down correctly before the child runs off.
Use your manners. I can't hear whining, demands, or rude comments.
I don't lie to you, you don't lie to me. If I say we will do something, we will... if you tell me you will do something, you will.
Stay together. Tell me when the group wants to switch areas.
Good rules except the stroller - why? The stroller is so much easier!
