It’s a totally different world now, PP. Both inflation and nanny-demand have driven the price up. If OP finds $15/$30 she should consider herself lucky.

I am a seasoned nanny of 14years. I wouldn’t do it for less than $29hr but I’m sure you can find cheaper. It’s all about what you’re looking for. Some Nannie’s have done a few shares and have prior teaching experience ,can pass a background check etc
