Sounds like rape. She has all of the same resources that any victim would have. Seems like therapy would be the most critical. I wouldn’t be surprised if she wants to return to her family.

So sorry to hear this. My only thought is that probably your LCC isnt equipped to me of much help here beyond a caring ear and you have done the right thing requesting the victim advocate. I would call the Cultural Care (or other company) HQ and talk to someone there if you need more support.

We moved away, but I love coming back here for advice. Our AP filed a police report and underwent medical exam as she thinks she was the victim of a crime. She is obviously distraught. The story is horrible and tragic and sad and overwhelming. Looking to see if anyone has been through anything similar, and what you did? What resources are there for the AP? What did the agency do? Detectives are coming to our house today, and she has asked for a victim advocate on our advice.
