I ended the interview after she changed the baby. I was just grossed out and wanted to leave asap. The mom said she was having difficult finding the right nanny for her baby. I am tempted to email her reasons why? I am can ask parents on the phone if they use wipe or not before I waste my time.

I truly hate parents using third world problems to care for soiled babies. Run OP!

Nanny with 7 years experience working with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. I just came from an interview, I thought it was going great except the parents don't use baby wipe at all. The mom showed me how she wants me to clean the baby after every diaper change. I watched and I am totally grossed out. The whole time she keeps telling me oh the poop doesn't smell at all and it doesn't really bother me, and is just healthy for the baby's bottom not to use wipes. I told her I'm not comfortable touching poops to clean baby. I left right after the diaper changing demonstration and I'm in my car just wondering, is this something new or are they seriously thinking nannies are going to be changing dirty babies without wipes? Nannies and parents please tell me your experience with the subject.
